Sunbeams

As children's social and language skills improve and children develop the skill of playing co-operatively with others around them, so they require more varied and challenging activities. This is the time when in consultation with parents/carers children progress to the Starlight room.

Individual professional care, matched with thoughtful planned activities, ensure each child can reach their full potential.

Sunbeam children are at the stage where they are beginning to learn and share and play, alongside other children. Toys and equipment offer a wide range of opportunites and experiences. This room offers a soft play area for the children to express their physical development, and help co-ordination, which is all important at this stage of their development.

As with Sunshines daily records are given upon collection and regular observations are used to monitor development and extend their learning,
key workers will discuss this with parents and carry out termly reports.
