Raindrops and Rainbows encourage children to develop all the necessary skills for the move onto school.
Children and staff work towards the foundation stage, covering the following areas: - Communication, Language and Literacy
Mathematical development
Knowledge and Understanding of the World
Physical development
Personal, Social and Emotional development
Creative Development
Our children's development is progressed through learning about the world around them, including lifecycles, and nature lessons (we have many resident insects/bugs)
We also have a large indoor soft play area that all children can explore and learn skills of climbing, balancing and group games.
We take pride in our refurbished garden area that the children have access to and enjoy planting, growing, mini beast hunts and a life like 'road'.
Parents/carers are invited to see what children have been learning and working towards, we work closely with schools enabling the staff to prepare the children for their next step, we complete transition documents and liase with teachers regularly.
Children who are 3 years can receive Government funding to access some free sessions, please ask for details.
